Default Launch at Intracoastal city

Is there still a public launch at Intracoastal City?

Very nice one....Maxie Pierce is more than double the size as it was pre rita. Got some good burgers there. I launched there last week and the machine was not working, even tried quarters. Talked to some game wardens that were trolling for shrimp doing samples. They said it was so bad it may not open till fall. We fished redfish point and some reefs south of there. Limited out on redfish and lost count of the nasty gafftop we caught. Gulp shrimp under a cork and 4" tsunami swim baits.

What do you mean by "machine"? How much does it cost to park?

Think it's $5. There is a machine that prints a parking ticket to put on your dash after you pay.

Yes! They never did replace the one at Cypremort Point. It's been missing for a couple years i think.

Do I have to worry about my truck getting towed? Is Danny Richard's still open?

Danny Richards is open but you are good to go at the public launch. It has a better landing, better parking, and the store is next door. You aren't gonna get towed.

The public launch there is awesome. Nice parking area, and patroled on a regular basis by VPSO. I have never had a problem there. Knock on wood!

I made it out there and it is a very nice launch. Went ride my cousin's shrimp boat to get some shrimp, was well worth the trip. The machine is working also.

He was catching pretty good. They looked like about a 40/50-50/60 like they hit the deck, but I picked out about 20lbs of 36/40 tails. He was about a mile or so off the bank between Delcambre Canal and Boston. I saw a couple of boats headed back west in the ICW and one headed to Grand Chenier today. I guess it is playing out. I didn't see the first brownie, all white shrimp.

Caught 50 pounds of about the same size marshrat mentioned today in little bay out of intracoastal. It was interesting to say the least in a 15 foot flat but we got it done.

What does the water look like in little bay Fearman area? Does it look good enough for reds? Thanks in advance.
