Default Bayou Amy

Decided to go try for some sacalait yesterday. Launched around noon fished till 4:30. Ended up with 14 keepers, wind kicked my tail lost alot fighting the trolling motor. All were caught on hair and tube jigs tightlined fishing downed trees 8-11 foot deep. Water was the cleanest I have ever seen it in the bayou. Towed a crawfisherman back to the launch he was having motor problems. He gave us a nice sack of mudbugs. No pics,we threw em in the grease as soon as we got home.
