Default Weekend of dirty dishes!

Friday me and my dad made about 20 pounds of boudin smoked about half of it

Yesterday wit the warm weather decided to do a brisket and drank some beer man it was good.

And now I got a roast potato salad green beans and rolls cooking. I'm pretty sure I keep market basket in business. Oh yea Cormies bread pudding and king cake for desert.

Little late but here's the half a hog we cooked last weekend. Buddy killed 5 about 20 pounds and gave me one.

how did ya cook the brisket? smoked or in the magnalite?

Cooked it on the pit. Put a hard smoke on it for about 45 minutes then took it off shot it up put in a pan with some beef broth and luds sauce covered it back up and put it back on the pit for about 3 hours.

Do you trim your brisket up any before you cook it?

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. Haven't noticed much difference but wondering how others cook theirs.
