Hairout Open federal waters!!

Anyone know when these stupid closures are going to open back up? I saw they opened some near florida. Its getting extremely aggrivating. I've been on a trip 90 miles out and didn't see any oil. Also have a few friends who go out 60-80miles a couple times a month and they don't see any oil. So whats the deal? Did they frikin forget about us or something

Anyways.. good news is that when the fish decide to come in they should be of good quality and quantity.

I was told that they have to have 7 days with no oil to open the inland waters and beaches. Not sure why they are holding out on the offshore waters.
I saw the Empire pogy plant smoking yesterday. Guess they finally are catching some
pogy over there in State waters.

I was wondering the same thing a month ago. Seems like a little overkill. We went to the Johnson Bayou rigs a few weeks back and there was a line of pogy boats headed west to get into the open areas.
