Default Best marine shop

I posted up a while back about my steering cable. Well, surgery came around and never got a chance to fix it. I now have a job and can afford to fix my steering cable. Most of the replys from my other thread were "fix it yourself" Well now I work 9-5/10-6, and fish on the weekends. I'd rather support small business instead of hours of work myself not having a clue what I am doing.

I am looking for a shop I can drop off my boat and have it worked on during the week. Someone that is quality and does nice work at a fair price. If someone on here has a business that replaces steering cables, I am all for supporting your business. I heard jerry's in sulphur does good work. Again, I do not have time/tools to replace it myself and would like to have it done right the first time. Thanks in advance.

NOT JERRY'S. Henderson implement in Lake Charles will do you good. Mr. Greg Vidrine will fix you up and in a timely manner. Jerry's is another thread...

I sent my Kenner to Henderson before... They were quick and reasonably priced.

I appreciate the quick responses. I will be giving henderson a call in the AM. Thanks guys.

Seems as if I was misled about jerrys. Maybe it was one of his cousins I was talking to.

I'd tell you some places over here by Baton Rouge but I highly doubt you'd want to drive 3-4 hours to drop it off.

O agree not Jerrys! And that subject will bog the internet down.

Give Harold Dykes a call. He in south lake Charles. Have brought my past 2 boats there great work and honest! But he won't work on a Suzuki motor so now I go to Lake Area.

I've got something in the works from an outstanding gentlemen. Does not look like I will have to take it to a marine shop. I ain't goin to jerrys. like I said I must have talked with one of his cousins or something, people I talked to had nothing but good things to say.

That's why I asked here.
