Default Fried cheese sticks

Got a lb of smoked mozzarella that i need to use up . thinking about fried cheese sticks? anyone ever done them ? some recipes say to freeze the cheese first ,some don't. any tips???

They were top notch! Froze the cheese then ap flour. egg wash ,bread crumbs. Egg wash and bread crumbs a second time then deep fry at 350 for about 45 seconds
. will do them again. smoked cheese makes a lot of difference

Sounds good!

For a dessert you can do the same with frozen cheesecake. Cut it and wrap it with filo dough then fry. Sprinkle powdered sugar afterwards. Ca Ce Bon!
