Default Early flight this morning

Killed 6 ducks and 2 specks this morning in Lake Arthur. Cold and clear with a fast flight of teal and spoon dogs. Should have had more ducks but we had a first time hunter with us and we let him take the first shots. And of course the pintail came in while we were out of the blind looking for a cripple. That never happens. Specks worked beautiful in the sun but were hard to finish with no wind. Hope everyone had good hunts this morning.

Oh yeah it was alot of fun. Went south of Holmwood this morning and absolutely nothing was flying. We were 100 yds from Cameron Prarrie Refuge and we hardly saw any birds in the distance.

Had some buddies hunting Laccasine and hadn't fired a shot by 830 yesterday. Said it was pretty crowed in their area. Lots of Sky busters and hail calls keepin the few birds they saw up high.
