Default Great Time with my Dad 4/4-4/7

Me and my dad headed up to Lake Greeson, Arkansas last week to try and get on some bass. Yall may remember from my recent reports that i have been in a bad slump lately, only catching a few here and there. Well this trip was definately a slump buster. We caught around 80 bass in 3 days. Biggest may have gone 3 lbs ( this lake is not known for size, a 3 lber is like a 6 at toledo) We had a blast catching most fish on spinnerbaits, topwater frogs/spooks, and a couple on cranks. One afternoon while we were heading in we saw some surface activity that appeared to be some small bass chasing shad. My dad didnt want to fool with the little bass, but i love catching on top, so i convinced him to stop. Well when we eased up what we found was several monster stripers chasing a big bream. I threw my spook right on top of them with no luck. My dad sat down and tied on an h2o express bream swimbait, and on his second cast hooked up with this beast. we are guessing it weighed somewhere between 25-30lbs. I have video of the fight that ill post a link to after lunch. It was a great time with my Dad. The striper is his biggest yet.
