I've got a buddy that just moved to NW AR and has been hunting in OK, his pictures verify it's incredible.

Why would u think I would ever have an ulterior motive in a post???? Never met frank or roux, were supposed to train with them in tx in 08 but it did not workout. Only know tim/frank through net and waiting on a yeller dog from a client in laf. Sire is a full brother to Hawkeyes Coast Guard "Cappy" NDC 2007 and is a repeat. Had 3 off first litter and they were Nice!

Now that is what I call a dog. The new puppy will be trained for field trials without a doubt. I also need to e-mail Tim back about booking my hunt for next year.

Good for you BPH, even though you train that way it is still extremely difficult to make it through 4 series. You need deep pockets, thick skin, and an almost Sadistic desire to WIN. Only have 2 pros in the state that specialize in the field trial venue; Mark Smith (LaPlace) and Ryan Brasseaux (LeBeau). P/M me for #'s at 5 mos and until then, expose the pup to as much as you can.

Ray, Ryan B. trained my dog almost 10 years ago, not field trial, just basics, best hunting dog I have ever had, and obedient as hell! He is good at what he does and very knowledgeable. Correct me if I'm wrong, his kennel name is "Native Sun Retrievers", and he also writes an article for the Cajun Outdoor magazine. |
