Default Surf fishermen, be aware of the rules

Signs along the beach beside Highway 82 warn that no vehicles are allowed, but tracks in the sand
dunes show the order is sometimes ignored. It is against Louisiana state law to drive over sand dunes,
which offer protection from high tides and storm surge.
Cameron Parish Sheriff's Dept. and LDWF are going to start enforcing this rule.
The signs start just after Holly Beach and go past Constance and Lil Fla. beaches.

Where is it legal to drive on the beach? I'm not familiar with the different names of the beaches.

You are fairly good until the rocks start. There are signs on the beach telling you where to stop.

If the azzhats would stay off the dunes you could still drive the beach.
Trucks do not hurt the beach but tear up the dunes. Last trip down there were two idiots from the stingray plant tearing up the dunes with an rtv.

THey put signs on all of the beach access roads and trails that no longer allow vehicles on the beach.
Just like the one I posted.

IMO, this is stupid. They won't let you go nothin anymore. They should make and example out of the ones destroying property and not penalize everyone.
