Well i couldnt stand it anymore, i had to get out to the basin and do some runnin to see what everything looked like. Man it was hot as ballls! The water is still really high but its really clearing up nicely. Got a few bites here and there on some points, nothing consistent until about 7 pm, i moved up shallow and starting gettin bit on a frog. Had prolly 7 blow ups in 30 minutes only boated 2 dinks and lost a 2 lber at the boat. Not the best trip but even the dinks were fat like footballs. Hopefully it will keep gettin better.

That is how I fish 90% of the time in the basin. Lillys are a pain but they hold bait = bass.

My nanny and uncle went out and they were catching 10-13 inch bass in Pierre Part that were really fat. We crawfish the basin and it surprised me how clear the water was in the swamp.
