Default VB 11-23 Did not Smash em

Went on a little afternoon trip. Landed at the State Park and went to the Cove. Water was very shallow with the North wind and outgoing tide. Water clarity was 6". Had 2 bumps and that was it. Was a little windy there so went over toward Shark Bayou and caught a 14" red, 1 white trout and lost a speck at the boat. Tide was coming in when I left and pretty water was present so it should improve.

Ditto on getting skunked @ the bay today.

On the water @ 7:30, off the water @ 11:30.

One 14" speck, 2 whites, and a couple of croakers @ shark bayou.

Zilch @ the cove.

A bump or two on plastics. Fish caught using market shrimp under a popping cork.

Water looked decent, but not "good."

Nobody I saw or talked to had any significant luck.

That's usually what happens right after a front. They get lockjaw with the high pressure.

I was wondering if the specks reacted like other fish. Appreciate the input.
