Wow, about 3 years ago I was picking up my kids at my babysitters house, well the rain started soming down really hard so i just stayed in there so I wouldnt have to take the kids to the car in the rain. It rained so hard her house flooded with about an inch of water. From Bone dry to flooded in no time. It was the first time her house flooded and they were in it for 30 something years. The power of rain is incredible.

I haven't seen it flood like that since i was a little kid. I think it was '80 or '81. We lived on that street a block from where Country Mart is now. we had 2 feet in the house and the house was on 2 feet off the ground. |
