Default Shotgun shells. FYI

Ableammo has some decent prices on steel shot rios right now if anyone is looking for Christmas gifts. Just got a case of 3" 3s 1-1/4 oz for to my door for $114

Do the other people in your blind like you shooting Rios? I always get residual power in my eyes when someone is shooting Rios.

I like the rios. just started using em this year. I picked some up at G&H in Gueydan, next time I'm in there I'm gonna ask if they can order different sizes. I paid $9 a box for 2 3/4 #6 and I think $11 a box for 3" #2

I haven't had a problem. I find federals to be pretty bad about that.

What were you shooting in my blind that day? I been finding blue shells all over and wasn't sure who were shooting them.

Those are Rios with the blue shells....I liked them and shot a couple boxes but had 2 of them hang up in my gun back to back so I switched back to Remingtons...I did like them though, could have just been an issue with that batch, I shot a lot of them for dove season before that with no issues.

A couple of years ago I had a bad batch. Some of the shells when shot big chunks of plastic were coming off and getting in the chamber. Also shot wasn't spreading sometimes almost shooting like a bullet. I wrote an email to rio telling them the problem I was having, not expecting to hear back. The next day I got, no an email, but a phone call from rio. They wanted me to send back what I had left and said they already had a new case in transit. I thought that was great customer service so I have given them my business ever since. I haven't had any other problems with the shells.

I started shooting them because I have heard nothing but good things but figured maybe my gun didn't like them...I was shooting cheaper Winchester shells that would leave plastic debris in my barrel so I wanted to find some thing clean...Remington sportsman #2 3" has been doing real good so I'm gonna stick with that for now

Did you just order 10 boxes? I can't find where they sell by the case?

My buddy was shooting Rios last Saturday, he shot a gray duck and the plastic wad collar stuck in the ducks breast. That must have been one of those non-spreading "bullet" loads. Everyone has their favorite brand, I have had problems with Remingtons, had one misfire, had one shell fresh out of the box with a hole in the brass. Glad that I didn't try to shoot that one early one morning. I like Winchester shells.
