Thanks to all who made this trip what it was.!!!
Felt real good to sleep in my own bed last night after getting 7 hrs sleep between fri am and sun pm.
I really wanted to thank H , Tim and Corey , They knew that my finances were tight and still told me to come down and fish and not to worry about it.
So to answer your question "W" I guess i was.
Great to meet all the folks i'd never met and see some old faces.
Inshore fishing was real tough this weekend .
Had a place that was producing a few fish but between the gnats and deer flies it was a real tough to grind it out for a few reds ,trout and flounder.
I will post up the recipe for the pistolletts in the food section in a bit.
Thanks to all for making it a great weekend!!! Bob

I was standing about 20 feet away from Bass Assassin when he tried to flip a good 3.5 / 4 lb ( S.C. 5 pounder) trout up on the bank. I was sick when that fish hit the bank and flopped back in the water so i can imagine how he felt.

I can't thank everyone enough for all that everyone contributed!!! NO ONE was bumming anything except maybe me and that was a rig for one of my guys to use because one of mine failed and I didn't have a backup. Purebay came through with a nice setup for my boy Nate.

Loudest snoring award....Texans! Man, they got chainsaws goin! LOL

Dink busted em on the "I thought everything was bigger in TX" deal! I think beer came out of my nose when he said that!

Eman rocked em on the cooking and cooking tutorials!

Bass Assassin was an awesome guy to run around with. He was nice enough to let me ride along when all of the rest of the Okie crowd headed offshore.

The above being said^^, a HUGE thank you to Dink for taking all of my crowd offshore Saturday morning!!! It takes a helluva guy to take a bunch of guys out when you don't know 2/3 of them!

There's more that I could go on and on about but, work didn't do itself over the weekend so, I have to get after it!

Southern151 is a stand-up guy. Dude jumped in on Dinks trailer repair and was full of grease. I know Nate and Van had a great time and it was nice just to sit back and watch them enjoy the shrimp and crabs you boiled up. Southern and Dink could always open up a trailer repair business on the island, had lots of practice this weekend.

Default Great weekend with great people!!!

Had a great time in GI with some real class people, thankful for invite. Will second the nice guy thing for T-bone was a true pleasure fishing with you. Now as for the worst fisherman statement, lets reveiw. Think T-bone can back me in fact I had big day on red snapper also biggest snapper of weekend refor to pic "caught on Texas size hook". As for, bailout it was the young OKEE not LA that picked up last fish of our sixth limit of boats day... When all trash talkin done the bottum line is had a weekend to talk about with people to talk good about for years to come... Cant wait for next time.

Dude, you were one of the most generous people on the trip! You came bearing gifts and cooked the best dish of the weekend. Definitely the opposite of a bum
I'm my opinion
