If it was registered in your name you can go to dmv with plate number and vin number and your drivers license and they can look it up and reregister it

You would have to have the person apply for a lost title...then have it transferred to u...notary and all that BS

Only other way is to try and pass it as homemade...maybe if you can change some stuff on it?? Then have the sheriffs dept (I think) come and inspect it to be road worthy and then title it in ur name

State Police.... And you will have to make a lot of mods to make it look home made. My advice would be to run from it unless its worth spending some money to modify.

Reason I ask this, my buddy was given a trailer for free, was never used much except around the camp, sat in the weeds for 10 years, Etc.
He was wondering if it's even possible to register.

Maybe try this.......

Go the DMV, and see if they will tell you who the trailer is registered too. If you find out, contact them and see if you can talk them into getting a title. Offer to pay them something for there help.

If there is a license plate on the trailer......search that for the owner.

Maybe try the DMV to find out who the owner is... if they don't have any records of the trailer have your buddy "sell" you the trailer on a Bill of Sale. You should be able to bring this bill of sale and get the trailer registered if it is not already registered. All registrations have to start with a sale at some point unless they are home made.

Probably won't get it. I'll take it off your hands if it don't work out. I could use that frame for something. I would even take your punk *** on a hunt
