Yea buddy...Just before the rain hit Lafayette yesterday, they were thick thick! I couldn't see my shed through them!

They are actually a litle early this year. Usually don't see 'em til early September. They are always worse in May, tho...at least around here.

Old wives tale, they start showing up about 2 weeks before the first cool front. Seems to be correct again this year. We just had a dry line (front) a few days before Isaac came through.

I've heard people say they come in with tropical systems. Don't ever remember one in May.

They always come out, close to Memorial day and Labor day. they right on schedule.

Heard something like this but the saying I heard was it was a sign of an early fall when they arrive early.

I just know when we start bushhogging, they are thick. Was supposed to start last weekend. They are on point.
