Yes it can, but, I would guess that corrosion has gotten the better of that motor. Nearly all of the Megas have had block replacements, they were 93 models. It started about 4 or 5 years ago. The block corrodes around the sleeves so badly, the head gasket won't seal. All of the water jacket cover bolts break off when you try to remove them, makes it kinda futile to spend that much money on a unit with a very limited life span.

So to those of you who know about these tohatsu's, are there any options for my M40C? Or is it pretty much where its gonna be... im hoping for some way to squeeze a little more out of it, i have a lot of money in it now.
