I do a very similar recipe and I do it all in my electric rice cooker. Comes out great!

Cooked this at work today with some elk ground meat and elk sausage. Man talk about good they were licking the pot after it was all gone.

Where do you add water? I don't see water listed. How much water? Also do you drain rotel or leave liquid?
