tried to quit several times. One of those times I had been without a chew for a little over 2 days and was messing up everything at work, was a fitter at the time. Screwed up and thought the boss was gonna fire me. He left and came back with 2 cans and I can't repeat what he said here. Pretty much the same line as your wife's

Default nicotine

If ya ever do a lil research on dipping an chewing ,It should scare you.
When you smoke ,You get a lil nicotine every time you take a drag .
When you put a dip in you get 85% of the nicotine in the first 1 3/4 mins.
Now you know why it's hard to quit.
When a newbie takes a dip or a chew and they turn green ,get dizzy and sometimes puke,Everyone says they swallowed. NOT TRUE!!
The reason they get ill is Nicotine poisoning.
They get an inrush of nicotine that their bodies aren't used to.

I started dipping the bandits. First it was 1. Then 2. Then 3 and 4. One time I had a bandit bust. Omg, talk about disgusting. I started dipping long cut after that day

I dipped and chewed since I was a pre-teen. I liked that Levi and Red Man Gold the most. Smoked a little of "this & that" too and stopped in early 90's. I played baseball and was always outdoors when I was younger and through college and was always exposed to it. I continued dipping/chewing it while I was coaching high school football and baseball. I stopped "Cold Turkey" in '01 during the Baseball Season. Damn that was hard when all my coaching buddies were doing it around me everyday, but I was hearing it from the ole lady and she hated me doin' it. I haven't done it since. Glad I was able to quit...
