Blind River

I pass the blind river launch on Hwy 61 near grammercy everyday on my way to work. I worked on my boat recently so I am towing it to work tomorrow and will launch here to test the motor out and thought about trying to fish the area. Are there any bass in the area? If so, any tips. Would be great to learn to fish the area since I pass it every day.
