Im Looking for a place to take my son squirrel hunting this year.
Its been a while since ive been in the woods. I used to have a few places in st amant to go, but have lost those to development. I was thinking about checking out Cat Island? anybody ever hunt there?
also what about Mareupas Swamp Wma? its close to my house. any ideas?

go ride outside the city and look for some spots and try to get in touch with the land owner. most of them will let you go hunt squirrels with no problems. the best spots i have are just from riding around and looking for oak trees.

I used to do the same but, I had to take the tree down that they hung out in! I also invested in one of those 1200/fps pellet guns too in case there wasn't a good backstop!

I don't think I've cleaned a deer in the last 10 years either! I love them playing football & working out, makes em stong, don't have to drag either! I just drink beer & keep their knives sharp!
