A couple of years ago I was in the process of bying one. My wife lost her job, so that went out the window. Before pulling out of the deal I test drove the 21' foot one. I liked it a lot. It got up on plain fast and drove nice. I didnt get to test it in chop, but other boats passing didnt give it any problems. It had a honda motor which I have heard is verry reliable, but doesnt give the power of other motors. I wish I had got it, I would give you more info. Good luck.

Tidewater has a very good reputation. You might want to do a searh on the HullTruth.com. Lots of Tidewater owners there.

I just purchased the Tidewater 2100 Bay Max a few months ago. Overall the boat has a nice fit and finish, rides nice in a chop. Mine is equiped with a 200 Yamaha four stroke and with trolling motor and 3 people the rig tops out at 49 on GPS, with that being said most of the Tidewater Bay 2100 bay max are packaged with a 150 Yamaha four stroke not a enough motor in my opinion. You will struggle to get over 44 mph with a load in your boat. The boat is heavy compared to most 21 foot bay boats which actually helps the ride somewhat in choppy conditions. Any more questions let me know.
