I've never fished it but my brother used to live in Nat****oches, and he would do well there.

I fished it this past weekend and the weekend before. Caught at least 8 keepers each trip with 3 going over 4 pounds. Flipping reeds with beaver style baits and wacky senkos in more open water.

Easy place to fish. They took most of grass out for skiers. Lot of docks and targets. Nice population of striped bass to bout 3-4lbs. Watch your speed . Limit is like 35 mph

Look at Google Maps. Didn't see it. Might have overlooked it.
Where do you launch at ?
What road or hwy is it off of?

Yea, just talked to my buddy that grew up on the river..he said his parents had to take the boats out of the slips and tie them to a tree higher in they're back yard. He also mentioned it's gonna ruin their spawning for those that haven't spawned yet.

It's the Cypress/Flora exit on I-49. Take it and go right at the bottom of the exit. It's a straight shot to the launch from there. Just go straight through the little intersection that's about a mile from the interstate. From there it's about four mile to the launch. You'll come to a bridge cross the bridge and you're there man. It's a nice place to fish. We have loaded up on some real good bream up there.

You'll be on hwy120 when you exit off of I-49. After you cross through that little intersection you'll be on hwy 494. You can find it on Google maps. Can even see where the bridge crosses it.

The lake is closed to boats due to high water. When they reopen it up, should be great for bream and bass. I fish there about once a week during April and May.
