What a terrible shame! Grow up! If you're not wanted somewhere, LEAVE! I hope the people responsible for this ROT in prison! Absolutely senseless crime.

UPDATE: Four arrested for shooting (7/6, 2:30 p.m.)

Posted July 6, 2009 at 2:30 pm
Lake Charles police have arrested a total of four people in connection with the shooting death of 20-year-old Lance Cpl. Daniel Cole Gueringer.
Bryce Wayne Perkins, 23, and Austin Michael Rousseau, 20, have been charged with second degree murder.
Two other men, Derrick Pelloquin, 22, and Greg Weisner, 23, have been charged with accessory after the fact and obstruction of justice.
Lake Charles police chief Don Dixon said they suspect the four men had been attempting to orchestrate a cover-up.
Dixon confirmed that Perkins is the son of a city police officer, but said it had no bearing on the case.
“We are leaving no stone unturned and we are going to charge him with everything we possibly can,” Dixon said.
Gueringer was on leave from Camp LeJeune in North Carolina for the July 4th holiday.
Dixon said around 2 a.m. on July 5th an unwanted guest was forced to leave a Fourth of July party at 4030 W. Prien Lake Road.
The man called Perkins and Rousseau and an argument ensued.
“We determined that Perkins was the shooter and Gueringer was trying to break up the fight,” Dixon said

Who the **** do these kids think they are??? Its sad that the men and women that serve this country now have to be on guard at home as if they were abroad! I hope for my fellow Marines that they max this punk and his padnah out... b\c if some Leathernecks get'em first it won't be good!

Fifth person arrested in LC slaying (7/8)

Lake Charles police arrested a fifth person on Monday in connection with the shooting death of Daniel Gueringer, 20, according to documents.
Taylor Ryan Johnson, 20, of Iowa has been identified as the “uninvited guest” who showed up at a Fourth of July party at 4030 W. Prien Lake Road.
He is charged with inciting a riot and criminal conspiracy.
According to records, Johnson attempted to start a fight with several subjects at the party by bumping them and elbowing them. After being told to leave the party, Johnson called Bryce Wayne Perkins, 23, and Austin Michael Rousseau, 20, to meet him at the house.
During an argument between Johnson, Perkins and Rousseau and other party-goers, Perkins allegedly shot Gueringer, who detectives say was trying to break up a fight.
The report states that Johnson was overheard by several people saying he was going to kill someone.

My wife is a good friend of a lady that sings at the funeral home. She said the place was packed yesterday for the funeral.
