Default Miami Corp/ "Burns" 5/22/2016

In the right place at the right time (for once). Fished 7:30 a.m.-2pm east of the Superior Canal. Caught 40-45 bass (some very small) and 7 chinquapins.
Kept 11 for eating.

Looks like a good trip. There is always a ton of little ones in the marsh. If you find water moving through a cut, you can generally catch bass one after another but most will be about 8-10" long. They are fun to catch though. I hope to get out there in the next couple days.

Just FYI, noticed when filleting the fish that they all had crawfish in their stomachs.

Have you burns guys been seeing any 40's in there? Seen anyone checking permits and/or motor size?

I've never been checked out there.
But I buy a permit and have a 25hp and a clear conscience.
They want you to apply two large permit decals on your boat; this is the only rule I don't follow. I put the decal on my trailer but couldn't find it within myself to put the stickers on my boat. I just painted it recently.
I do carry the decals with me in the boat though.
