Default Vbay tomorrow

How is the water looking in the bay. I'm thinking about heading out there tomorrow. Anyone want to jump in if I go.

Weeks Bay looks fine there. That's where you should be this time of year anyways. And if that's the only pocket of clean water then the fish should be there.

salinity still higher than what it was most of summer, but only about half of what it was last week. Looks like a big influx of fresh water did move in, but overall still about 5-6PPT. It was 2-3 most of summer and as high at 10 last week.

don't go. Then you'd have to wake up early, launch the boat, run in the chilly morning air, cast your pole out, then you have to reel in fish, open the ice chest, put the fish in, then count, then run back to the landing, walk to the truck, back up the truck, walk to the boat, put boat on trailer, latch the front of the boat, turn motor off and trim up, then hop in truck, pull off the ramp, load up the gear, pressure wash the boat, go take a leak, get fried chicken, drive home, unload gear, get the wife/friend to help unload ice chest, get the knives and bowl out, clean the fish, pack the fish, clean the table, clean the ice chest, then maybe take a break shower and go to bed.

way too much work, stay home and let me do this lol

Geez, when you put it down on paper, it looks like fishing is a lot of work. LOL But it's worth it! Catch or no catch.

It's a lot of work no matter how you look at it, but yes it's a blast!! Now you know why you're so tired in the evenings though.

not a bad second option! except you had to get charcoal, light the pit, wait for pit to warm, season meat... I'm not doing that again
