Finally the birds show up last weekend of the season. We have been doing terrible the last few weeks. If weather wouldn't have been bad, I would have been on Big Lake. Only reason I went yesterday is b/c I had to get all my dekes and equipment. Glad I did. We scratched out a 4 man limit by 8:30. Bout 10 bootlips but I'm just glad I got to shoot my gun. Rest were greys and teal, and one greenhead. Decided to end my season on a high note and not go back today. 2 of my buddies out there right now. Said they have 7 and they still hunting. Now time to start wading hard and anxiously await turkey season! Headed to Vegas next weekend for my bachelor party, never been. Can't wait! Hope everyone else had a decent closing weekend hunt.
