Default K2 Coolers Customer Service

I love supporting local companies, if their product is up to par and their service is right there too.

My K2 70 qt started to have warping issues on the lid, no structural or performance issues though. Just what appeared to be de lamination on the lid.

I went online Saturday and issued a warranty claim in about 20 seconds. Within an hour or two I had been contacted to let me know my claim went through. Awesome already.

First thing this morning I get a request for photos and further details on the cooler. Within minutes of sending pictures I was assured it would be replaced at no charge.

So far I am extremely happy with K2, wish more companies communicated like this (Costa is one that does).

I'll update this once the replacement is done, then will give confirmation of the service from start to finish.

Man thats awesome. Its nice when a company has enough respect for their customers and their products to stand behind both of them that way. Its great when you're not just another number in a file or dollar in the register. Good luck bro.

I walked in with my cooler expecting to get a new lid, they gave me a brand new 70qt cooler no questions asked. Even gave me a new measuring sticker to replace the grand isle one I had before - all I gotta do is cover the STAR logo...

I won't buy another brand for as long as they're in business, going grab a 20qt now.

Can't beat that at all bro. Good for you and good for them. It's nice when a company has pride in their products and customers.

That's good to know. The strap on my 20 has been broken for a while now. I rigged it up to work for the time being, but I may see if they'll send me a new strap.

By warping I'm assuming that your lid has developed a wavy appearance? My 50 qt is 4 months old and doing the same. I just assumed that they would do this.

That's it, I was told they have corrected the issue by adjusting the amount of insulation they fill the kid with. Before there was not enough so they made an adjustment that is supposed to remedy the problem.

I've seen some that stay out in the sun on people's boats and they didn't have the warping, hopefully it's in the past.

Gotcha. Guess I'll have to file a claim then. I've loved it so far and pushed the products to many friends already who made K2 purchases.

Gooh,
I'm picking up a Summit 50 tomorrow (Wed) on my way back to Laf from Cyp Point. Where can I get a measuring sticker?

I haven't seen them anywhere, stopped at Acadian Outfitters when I left and they didn't have em. I'd give K2 a shout at the office and see if they know who carries them 337-205-9994.
