I helped out Capt L Landry today with a crew from Real Tree and Otter Box. My crew onboard came from Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Georgia. We started where I crushed the reds yesterday, but found a much slower bite. My crew caught 20 plus reds but only 7 were keepers. We moved to another location catching about 12 more reds keeping 3. Our next stop found a couple fresh water catfish, a keeper red, sheep head and a pup drum. We made one drift for trout in a somewhat protected area hooking two trout keeping one. Our final stop found a school of pup drum, we caught 15 and 7 kept along with a 30 inch redfish. Fresh bait shrimp on the bottom or under a cork caught all fish except for the one speck. It was a fun day and my crew caught a bunch of fish. Thanks Capt Landry for setting up the trip.
