The water is great along the west side. went last sat and boated over 40 bass with 16 keepers and 1 over 4lbs. I would upload all of the pics we took but my iphone is in about 8ft of water along the levee as of 2:45pm last sat.
just find some pretty water and start fishing SLOW!!!!

the pits on the north side of I-10 were accessable last weekend i got in it with a 19ft bass boat

Water still pretty clear near the levee, bite was pretty slow yesterday, we did pick up a few keepers though

How'd you catch em, shallow or deep?

I tried 3mile lake for the first time Friday but it wasn't easy... It looks like it should hold fish tho. Anybody ever fish that place?

Fairly shallow holding pretty tight to structure, grass and wood. Mostly on watermelon plastics and a couple on spinnerbaits.

I use to fish all over the Henderson Swamp area.....but never heard of "3 mile lake". Where is this located? How do you get there? I probably have been there.
