I won't keep a big nasty Drum, but I will take my picture with them big Trophys.
I agree with Ray I have taken my share of pictures with fish people consider nasty fish. I don't keep them but I will take a pic with the trophy. Furthermore how do you tell your kids no we don't take pictures with that it is a nasty fish. The answer is you don't.

Our membership was up 80% last year. This site can become a very powerful weapon towards whatever cause we choose to support from an outdoors conservation perspective. You guys are all a part of what is still a ground floor opportunity. We have already helped several members in times of need and also families at Christmas. Keep posting your reports and inviting other members to join. I hope to see several of you new members at our tournament in August.

I would rather fight a pit bull than tell either one of my kids they can't get a picture with their catch. Heck my little boy took a proud picture of an oyster he caught last year. There's no way I could ever do something like that to them. I love em to much.

I am a Yankee that moved to Shreveport 9 years ago. I moved here to take a job I had been offered. One of the primary reasons I took the job was because I love to fish and Louisiana and Texas reputation as a world class fishing destination. I had primarily bass fished prior to the move. I had never fished in salt or brackish water. I still bass fish most of the time, but have made seven or eight trips to Hackberry. All I know about specs, redfish and flounder have come primarily from fishing reports on this website. I have never used a guide and have caught fish on every trip. I fish out of my Skeeter bass boat, but will be trading for a bayboat before I retire in 5 years.

I appreciate this site and the fishing reports. I have learned techniques, locations, baits that I never would have known about without this website. While I sometimes have to wade though some BS to find what I am looking for, I recognize it for what it is and keep coming back.. Keep up the good work.

Default Changes

I really like the changes that have been made.

My son loved to look at the pictures of fish but I had to quickly scroll down to avoid some of "those" pictures.

It is now family friendly and we can both enjoy it together.

This crap is getting old ......
Proactive measures have been taking and I have been getting on the site more and it's goin right back into that sports bar faze
Hope it don't go back to that way or I'll be absent again for a while.
All the bickering he called me this she said don't catch that it's childish, if things that are said really bother you that much just simply don't read it people target a hand full of others on here to point the finger at when they are doing the same thing provoking the situation it's absurd.
I guess what I'm getting at is if you don't like someone's post or thread simply move on don't comment just go to the next thread, it's just the Internet......

Dance Fishing Info

Love this site, thats why I'm here to see the results of fishing and hunting, and yes even posting of where to go. Doesn't bother me to tell where to catch fish. Everyone will find out the hot spots anyway. Just my opinion. I think that is why we are called "sportsmen". You don't want to tell, your priviledge. The thing is, if some guys see a guide or someone they recognize who "catches" fish, they are gonna mark the spot. I won't personnally zoom in on someone, but respect his position. But, if I had just happened to plan on going to that spot anyway, I'm at least going to approach the right way, like I would want someone to do to me.
