Default OOPS!!!

This 32' Fountain is at a friend's shop right now. He just got it this morning and they, of course, want it back for the weekend. Apparently, they had just bought the boat a month ago and have family coming in from around the country to ride in it this weekend.

It seems that one of the cables on their boat lift snapped the other day and the nose, as you can see, ate the bulkhead! Oughta be an interesting fix and I'll likely wind up down there with him tonight trying to put it all back in one piece. Beautiful boat, I must add with twin 498's! Man, I'd hate to have to fill that thing!

I know a guy that has a 38' baja and they take it from their summer house in gulf shores to the keys and he told me that it cost about $140 an hour to run it and that's just cruising not wide open. He has twin 454's in it! But I guess if you can afford a summer house and a boat like that gas just a lil change!

my first thought as well. Looking at the damage though and the way it broke, it really does look more like a fall than an, "Oh crap, I was going too fast into that bulkhead!" Everything that broke off was too intact.

Still sucks, no matter what! Waitin on Troy to call now if he needs any help or not.
