Question Duck Lake Area

Planning on going to Duck Lake Area in the basin sat. morning. Does anyone know if the 21 inch pipeline canal is deep enough to go through to get to Duck lake right now? Last check the river stage at Butte Larose was 3.67 ft.

The 21 inch is plenty deep. Bayou Boutte should be deep enough after getting across the sand bar at the 21 inch. Don't take the cut to the left to hit Duck Lake. It is too shallow. You will have to run all the way to Little Bayou Sorrel and then back across Duck Lake to get to the north end. Don't run across Duck Lake. Idle. There are stumps in the lake. Go around west of the two cypress trees out in the lake. It is shallow between them.

I am assuming that you are entering the 21 inch from the main channel. Idle through the entrance off the main channel. It is shallow.
