Default curado handle

Does anyone know if the handle off an new shimano curado 200 series will fit on an okuma serrano? Someone told me that it is possicble to remove just the knob part on a curado/serrano and it should be interchangeable...is this true? I tried google, but could not find any info....maybe I just suck at teh google

The reason I am asking is that I have a serrano and the main thing I dislike is the handle and if possible I would like to change it.

Thanks for the help

Try looking on this site to see if it is the "exact" same part number for each reel. But keep in mind......it does not need to be the exact same part to be interchangeable. Look to see how these 2 parts are made and most likely you can see it the handle will fit.

You can also look on the Shimano web site to get part numbers.

Geaux to www.2cool.com and post your question in the Shimano section. You'll get a definite answer.......they have several reel repair guys there and even a Shimano rep.
