Hunted Thursday morning...had to wait them out but managed our 2 limits. We hunt south of the highway below the Church. Had many flights of teal working the northern most sections of the marsh. South end, closer to the Gulf, was spotty.

Was that you guys who were banging away Thursday morning closer to the highway? Looked like you had good flights all morning! That extra fresh water seemed to help those enclosed marshes. Our marsh is connected to hog bayou which is very tidal...and salty.

no i didn't hunt thursday, but we've been hammering them little boogers since opening morning. Our marsh is pretty much fresh now and full of vegetation.
