Default Opening Morning Teal Hunt (Jennings)
5 of us decided to try out a new lease that 2 of my buddies are in around the Jennings area. By 7:45 we had our limit but we should have had it earlier. We had 1 bird come through the decoys TWICE, we slung 15-20 shots at it and didn't drop a feather!!! Also had a couple nice flocks come in and only managed to drop 1 or 2 birds each. It's nice that we can shoot bad and still come out with a limit like that. There was absolutely NO wind until around 7:20 then a lil halfazz breeze came through for about 2 minutes. All in all it was a great start to the season and I can't wait to knock some more birds down!!!

It was a blast! Most fun I've had duck hunting in a long time. I haven't gone home with a limit of ducks in years.

Yep, will be doing that tomorrow. Picked up some bacon and cream cheese on the way home from the hunt, just gotta go get some fresh jalep's tomorrow and I'm set!
