I catch some in a cast net every now and then but never any that big. The best bass fishing I ever did was in a protected marsh in The Boston. The hurricanes messed that up but it used to be really good.

Slow day yesterday. Fished the pass, the north side of MI and back into Mud Point and Weeks Bay. The water looked nice everywhere but the south end of the pass. Not one bite. One nice sized speck Friday afternoon. I saw lots of boats piled up at the Cove and Weeks Bay….anyone catching in those parking lots?

Yeah, me too, it was quite a surprise.

rk3, nobody was catching around weeks bay. fished around there Friday and Saturday. Best i did was when a guy flagged me down heading out of the quintana Friday and gave me 4 trout! they were catching 1 per hour on the trash pile.

Gotta love the bay...
