Default All new low!

Just when I thought I have seen it all when it comes to todays youth and the new society of America, I get kicked in the gut. This past Saturday I responded to a horible traffic accident, driver is trapped in car, passenger is in cardiac arrest, and we are in broad daylight in a residential neighborhood. We were able to get the passenger out and begin working on her, performing CPR for about 8-10 mins before getting a pulse back, getting her on a strectcher and transporting her in the fire department ambulance before Acadian got on scene. I return to the scene to find a 9y/o standing in the yard adjacent to the accident site, filming with an iPhone. I asked the little girl how long she was filming, her response - "for a long time, I saw you pumping her chest". I asked her to go back to her house and if her mom knew what she was doing, her response "yeah, she's standing right there".

I look over to the front door to see a lady just watching from her door as her kids are witnessing something I wouldn't want my kids to see. Better yet, she's letting them film it! C'mon Man! This is ridiculous!!!

I went visit my wife at work one night (she works at a hospital) and they were landing a helicopter in the front yard with a patient from a wreck.

Naturally my kids wanted to see the helicopter land so we went into the ER lobby to watch. As we were watching they pull the patient out the helicopter and a nurse from the ER jumps on top of him and starts doing chest compressions. That scared the **** out of my kids for a few days, nightmares and all and they just got to see about 15 seconds of it. No way I would let my kids see that purposefully.

That is the core of why we see amazing crap that never happened in the past...POS people raising kids...or lack there of...You have to have a license to do most anything on this planet, except for the most important endeavor you could possibly take on...Raising a child...Usually if you are a fesces missle and you have a child, they will be a fesces missle as well...That is what is so sad...no standards to raise a child...Integrity/Character/respect are a thing of the past...Truly sad...
