Churn Squirrel opener this weekend

Squirrel opens this weekend. Who's goin and what part of the state are you huntin'? My Pup and I will be out there at our old cattle farm South of Erath. I went pass a couple days ago and it was full up. Looks like rice and gravy for lunch Saturday!

Headed to Sherburne 11,12 and 13th with the entire Soileau clan. Staying at uncle's camp on the Courtableu. Doubt a single squirrel will be killed, but we are going to have a blast

Might kill a few from alcohol poisoning with everyone pissing in the water and poor squirrels drinking it.

The LaHaye crew will be in the woods east of oakdale. Not sure how much hunting I'll do though.

Yea you have to be quick on the draw with the cats for sure which I find makes em more fun to shoot. IMO the cats are better to eat. Much more tender. If I'm cooking them with together I usually have to pull the cats out and continue to cook the foxes. The cats will tend to fall apart before the foxes are done.
