Dealer telling me Honda is the quietest by far. Never been around one but I know the susuki is not very loud. Anybody been around both?

I won a Honda motor and have owned a Suzuki and Yamaha. Honda is the quitest when idling but when it is running full open it is probably middle of the pack. Now when it comes to Power and fuel efficiency it is the best of all of them by far. If you have any other questions let me know i am on a prostaff for FCJ Marine in Texas and they are primarily a Honda dealer.

Honda and Suzuki are the two quietest motors out there. Suzuki has a lower gear ratio than all the other 4 strokes which means it can turn a bigger prop therefor creating less slip and pushing more water at a lower rpm. You cant go wrong with either motor though.

suzuki are really quite idling cant tell it on without looking at the water spout and you don't have to scream or talk really loud to someone nx to you while on step.

I currently own a Honda and yes it is smooth and quiet, previous engine was a Yamaha 4s which was smooth and quiet as well ...

Fished out of several Suzuki powered rigs and they are of equal quality as the Honda or Yamaha's IMO ...

I'm looking at the SHO as well... everything I've heard has been great. I think they had some issues early on (2012 I think?), but seems as though they've gone away. No clue on how loud it is though!
