Default Fired up the Grill

While in Memphis, my sister grilled some lettuce. I had to try this with the steaks and it was delish!

First was the steak!

I can smell it from here...

The salad was drizzled with WOK oil because it had a hint of ginger and black pepper. Once turned over, it was topped with fresh graded parmesan cheese.

Yummy as always....

Can you give a more detailed description of that barbecued salad? lol I'm pretty sure my mom would like that.

Had a head of lettuce, not sure exactly what kind...it was in the icebox. All I did was sprinkle WOK oil which is seasoned with ginger and cracked pepper. I basically put some sear marks on it and turned it over for the cheese. once the cheese started getting soft, off it came. I didn't use any dressing when I ate it. It was good by itself. If it starts to wilt, its on for too long. This was my first time, so I imagine you can play with dressings. I see this being a good "warm ceasar" with an anchovy dressing.
