Default Bait in Cameron

Is anyone selling bait (shrimp) live or fresh in Cameron?

I'm sure you can find some fresh shrimp in Cameron. There are signs everywhere. Live bait, maybe got to the bait lady. You can probably just yell who got shrimp and 3 people will approach.

Go past the shell station and look to the left. When you see the spay paint she's in the trailer back there. They always got something to sell. I would buy their tacos though. The pin that is on Rex Rd

That's the old Crabman bait shop. He passed away a couple of months ago and a couple took over his operations. Her name is Kay Picou.

Crabman's place is at the old Monkey Island Ferry just across the road and west of the courthouse. It's the only short paved street to the left. The operation sits on a dock out over the water.

We stopped there Friday and bought some nice 21-25 table shrimp for $3.50 a pound. She had bait shrimp the size of sea-bobs but no live bait that I could tell. She also had 2 big pools of crabs swimming around at $15 a dozen for mediums and very large ones at $25 a dozen.
