I talked with two guys from Texas at the launch today. They rode all the way from the other side of Houston. I asked them why they drove so far... they said because they can't catch the quality and numbers of fish that they can in Calcasieu. They showed up in a 24 foot shallow/flats hull. Anyone seen that one out there today?

That Texas boat is always at the weirs catching Redfish. Big console, no sides.

I saw a boat with two guys in it that sat real low in the water, not sure the name on boat. They were on the east bank north of the camps at hebert's in those cove's.

Yep, looks like a fiberglass barge with big console and a few ice chests on it.
The fishermen always have waders on.
