Default Light help needed

I fish alot at night and have a q-beam that i use. It is like 1.5 mil candle power. It works great except at Old River. When we are out there you cant see past the front of the boat. I am not sure if it is a haze or what. Been out there at least 10 times at night so its not a rare occurrence. Do i need a colored filter or something?

No light will cut through fog. Unless there's a special one that I don't know about. The intracoastal is the worst about that. Only by the grace of god I haven't run into a barge yet.

Agreed. Best thing for fog is no light. Light reflects off any moisture in the air and this effect is worst at night.
