Default New owner Frontier 2104

Finally pulled the trigger on one. Was a toss up between 2104 and 214 XTS. In the end, Nautic Star peeps just didn't want to play nice. Can't wait to get next week. All the info here, made the choice that much easier.

Went with Yamaha 200. Kyle didn't have any black hulls in stock for couple weeks or I probably would have went with the Suzuki 175. I'm inpatient.

That Yamaha 200 shouldn't be able to post the number that the Suzuki 200 can. I'd be real surprised if it did. An apples to apples comparison is hard to come by though with different load outs, set up's etc...

I've got a Sport Trail trailer for my 19 ft. Frontier. Great trailer except for one thing, the dang fenders keep wallowing out the bolt holes causing the fenders to get loose. On my last trip to Coco, when I arrived I found that the fender was just flopping in the breeze and only one bolt was holding it in place. After talking to my boat dealer, he said I'm not the only one with the problem and suspects that it is caused by vibration and the fact that the fender, being constructed of aluminum which is soft, vibrates and causes the bolt holes to wallow out. I did a "jerry rig" on it that I think might solve the problem. Just wondering if others have the same issues.

I know the suzuki 200 is about 3-4 mph faster than my 175 and it's just about the same motor.
53 on a good day with my 175 and buddy got 56 with his 200.

I got 57 with very little gear and 1/4 tank.
The fastest I ever got with 2 peeps Is about 54. But I have a ton of crap in my boat.
