Default Calcasieu/ West fork

Went up the calcasieu yesterday almost to watermelon bay. Muddy! Fished slow with a dark colored worm up against the trees. nothing not even a bite. Also tried a rapala nothing. Not even a bite.

Went up the west fork the day before. fished from just south of the bridge all the way up to a little past sam Houston park. "same set up". a few bites, but muddy and lots of duck weed. the current was moving a little as well.

Thinking of going further up north, maybe hall brook or little river? anyone had any luck up there or know what it looks like now?
