Default A billystix idea hope you approve

Hi guys
just thought i would shoot these homemade rod holders that i made a few years ago for various uses, i have them set up at different points in the house like in my living room and in my rod drying room just need a place to place a rod that is either completed or that has some work to be finished or a rod that needs even more work.
The 8 rod holder is the one that sits between my rod building chair and the couch in the living room, this way i can keep up to 8 rods in various build mods, one might need one thing left to do and another might need something else or they might be 6 that is awating thier turn to be dryed on the rod dryer.
Not sure if you find this of much intreast but just thought i would give it a shot.
Please give me your thought's.
Stix

Damn, looks like you got something there. The last pic looks like it would be more stable than the rest though.

Default Gotta Luv PVC

I love to see what people do with PVC. Those look good. I recently had Achilles Tendon surgery, so I have a few months of immobility.

Gonna send my wife to Lowes with a list for PVC pieces, etc.

Rods look really good also--maybe they make the PVC look better.

TRUST ME
THE SQUARE ONE'S ARE VERY STABLE, I HAVE PUT OFF SHORE RODS IN THEM AS WELL, THEY WORK JUST AS WELL WITH REELS, I MADE A COUPLE FOR MY SON AND SPRAYED THEM BLUE, THEY TURNED OUT NICE.
I HAVE MADE THEM A COUPLE TIMES FOR A FISHING CLUB THAT I BELONG TO FOR RAFFLES AND SUCH BUT THEY WOULD RATHER HAVE DANG FISHING RODS THE REASON I HAVE THE DIFFERENT SIZE ONES IS DUE TO SPACE , LIKE THE SQUARE ONE'S I KEEP IN MY OFFICE "QUOTE"DRYING ROOM AND I HAD A COUPLE SPACES THAT WAS JUST GOING TO WASTE, SO I MADE THOSE SO THAT I COULD PUT RODS AFTER DRYING OR RODS THAT NEED TO GO ON THE DRYER, AND I CANT LEAN A ROD UP AGAIN THE WALL IT JUST AINT RIGHT, SO THIS WAY THERE IS NO PRESSURE APPLIED TO THE BLANK AND IT WANT CAUSE THE BLANK TO WARP. BUT YOU CAN EASILY PUT REELS ON AND THEY STAY UP RIGH AND STEADY, SOMETIMES I GET INVITED TO ATTEND CLUBS AND SO FORTH SO I CAN CARRY THEM WITH ME TO DISPLAY MY RODS AT THE SHOW OR WHEREVER I GO TO DEMO A ROD.

I really like that idea Billy, I'm gonna have to hit up Lowe's this weekend and make me one like that so my stix feels right at home when I get it.
