Caught about 65 today. Dolphins claimed a bunch. I have a video of one crushing a trout. I will have to upload later. Attachment 50783

Here also caught a bunch but only a few keepers. We fished in the bay where you'll fished?

In the bay. We threw back very few. Maybe 3. All on live shrimp. Anyone that pulled drag was in danger of getting hammered by mr dolphin.

We had a dolphin almost jump in the boat in that same spot. Somehow I managed to get the trout in the boat...with teeth marks on it

That was one of the more docile hits. He was going nuts on them.

Nice job.
They're even more of a pain when they're swimming next to you while you're wading and waiting for you to hook up. If you use popping corks, that seems to signal them to the fish being caught.

Caught only 11 keepers this morn with 50 throw backs and my boy from Texas got a big nasty that actually wasn't that nasty prettiest one over 10lb that I have seen. Oh well not the numbers I had hoped but he had a good time. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1369414638.675125.jpg

That high pressure that moved in is what killed you today. Fish are still there they just have lockjaw.

Fish closer to the bank. Live shrimp under a cork Just let it drift and don't pop it very much

You could try fishing the wellheads too. Both the ones with the tanks in Barataria usually hold fish

Yeah. The closer it was to bank seemed to guarantee a hardhead. That's pretty much what we did. I fished the wellheads today and some in bassa bassa and nothing but dinks. Caught on plastics and live.

The beach is slick right now and looking decent. I'm about to hit them up.

Should be good. Looks like the pressure is starting to fall too. Might hit up 4 bayou if the beach doesn't do anything
