Default Slam Jam Thank you Ma'am

Here are some pics from the other day. These fish are from Thursday. The fish bit good for us on the east side of the river. Went out on the outside to catch some better fish until Hurricane Katrina part II started brewing. The wind picked up and we were forced to go back inside. Luckily there were several piles of birds diving on the reefs. And finished up there. Friday was another story. the high pressure came through and the fished did not want to cooperate. We were forced to chase reds all morning and then managed to scratch a few under the birds in the evening. Nothing special not even worth getting out the camera. today was one of the best days I have had guiding we had our limit (75) at 7:56 this morning, and I didnt launch till 6. My guys were good fisherman as I only caught a few to get them atarted and then just stood there ready to unhook. The west side was beautiful out on the beaches with plenty of bait but not many fish. Went venture out there to look for a big trout with the full moon in affect, but the big girls out there were being stupid today. Guess it was the 2 foot tide we had. All fish were caught on blue moon bay chovies.

W thats cool. I think i can arrange that. You can bring salty with ya. I am slammed the next 2 weeks but have several days off the end the month and in july. O got a cool story for yall real quick. Today I was looking for the big girl on a super shallow reef throwing topwater. and all of a sudden the big silver bullet shows herself 15 feet from the boat. My customers were all tangled so I threw my topwater at her and she swam under it. I could have thrown up. A very very good fish at that, guessing between 6 and 7. I would have given my left (you know what) for a jig at that moment and not a topwater. Oh well she lived to see another day and makes some more babies for us.

Man that is a nice mess of fish. A lot of 16-20" trout there. I bet they were not caught at BIG/Little Lake.
